New Filmmakers Unleashed!

AN ALL-NEW HIGH FOR LOW-BUDGET CAMP!

Introducing the world’s campiest superhero to hit the big screen since the 60s!  A science-fiction parody that puts the fun back into crime fighting!  Surge of Power:  The Stuff of Heroes is a campy action-adventure story of an original comic book superhero.  It pays tribute and homage to many films, television programs, and comic books in the science-fiction and fantasy genres.  Good natured fun for all ages, and it treats the audience to 20 familiar science-fiction and fantasy faces!  How many celebrities do you recognize?

Surge of Power is not only a funny movie, it provides social commentary on why people read comic books and the need to have some fantasy and escape from reality in our lives.  Unlike other superhero movies, Surge of Power examines all those unspoken aspects of superheroes from the absurdity of secret identities, to superpowers and lame weaknesses, to gaudy costumes, gadgets and super vehicles, to the ambiguity of heroes in the genre.

Surge of Power also reveals that flashy costumes and superpowers are not what makes one a hero.  Character is what’s important.  Let it bring out the hero in you!

Surge of Power is the first feature film of its kind, and a first for many of those who worked on the project.  It is a collaboration of the novice with the seasoned, which has truly created an all-new high for low-budget camp!
